Join us for Creating Together, a celebration of creativity, showcasing the talents of our clients, companions, and supporters! In addition to giving our creative companions and clients a platform to share their work in a supportive environment, we will also be welcoming creatives from across the region to give advice and show their own unique abilities.
Our creative showcase will demonstrate the creative talents of our clients, companions, and supporters. We'll be bringing together creatives from far and wide, as well as giving people who may be nervous about sharing their abilities an opportunity to develop their skills in a supportive nurturing environment.
At Better Together, we have seen first-hand how creativity can bring wellbeing benefits and help our clients to build their confidence. We also enjoy joining our clients with creating works of art, whether that is morning spent crafting or knitting, bouncing writing ideas off each other, or gaining inspiration by visiting the local art gallery, library, or bookshop.
We'll also have a space for charities and local businesses to promote their services and an area where you can simply come and work on your latest project.
We realise that not everyone will be able to attend Creating Together in person, or feel comfortable in sharing their work, but may still want to be involved. Many of our events will be livestreamed, so you can still enjoy our showcase from the comfort of your own home. We have also chosen the Worcester Warriors Foundation as our venue to allow as many people to attend as possible, based on transport links and suitability for those with accessibility requirements.
Our poetry performances and art workshops will be streamed on our Facebook page. Make sure you're following to receive a notification when we are going live. Recordings of the livestreams will also be made available on our YouTube page after the event has finished, with short clips also on Instagram.
In the lead-up to Creating Together, we want to help get your creative muscles working! We'll be putting out regular creative prompts below and across our social media pages for you to have a go at. Share your creations with us by email, share on social media with #CreatingTogether, or just keep for yourself.
Write a letter to someone you care about, thanking them for being in your life.
